Case names new business director

LEIGH Harris has been named as Case Construction Equipment’s new business director for the UK and Ireland.

He replaces Scott Freeman, who recently stepped down to take up the position of business development manager at EPG Administration Services, a firm that provides extended warranty and service programmes.

Harris was previously director of network development EMEA at Case for the past three years. He said, “I am looking forward to my new role. This is an exciting time for Cae and we have all the right elements in place to further strengthen the Case brand.

“With a strong Case dealer network, a reputation for quality and more new products on the way, we plan to grow our Case business in the UK/ROI still further.”

Andy Blandford, vice president Case Construction Equipment EMEA added, “Leigh is the natural choice for this role – he knows the UK market, our customers and dealers well and he has ambitious plans to grow our Case business in the UK still further.”

Scott Freeman had been with Case since 1990 and latterly was responsible for driving increased market share and developing the manufacturer’s dealer network in the UK and Ireland. His remit at EPG will be to develop and support existing clients and seek out new business relationships.

Scott Freeman said, “EPG is a revered name in the market that has always stood out because of the complete service they offer to manufacturers, dealers and their clients. That is why I am excited to be joining the team and look forward to being a part of the next chapter in this rapidly growing business.”
