Manitou UK raise £1100 for local hospice

Manitou UK held a staff Christmas raffle in December 2014 to raise funds for a local charity.

Naomi House & Jacksplace are hospices in southern England for children and young adults with life limiting conditions.

With only 10% of the hspices income provided by the Government, the charity rely on charity donations to continue providing care and support to young people and their families.

Sarah Hunter, Manitou UK Marketing Supervisor, commented, “We are very happy with the amount raised and are pleased to be able to support a charity in our local community, I would like to say a special thank you to our suppliers for donating prizes for the raffle.”

A total of £550 was raise through raffle ticket sales and Manitou UK doubled the amount raised to a total of £1100, with all proceeds donated to Naomi House & Jacksplace.

David James, from Naomi House said, “We are so grateful to Manitou for their generous support. Without donations like this we wouldn’t be able to provide the much needed support to children and young people with life-limiting conditions from across the region.”
