MORRIS Leslie Plant Sales is making more than 700 machines available for sale direct from their hire fleet.

The move follows the delivery of 1300 new machines this year. The 700 machines include 300 telehandlers (2012-14), 250 excavators (2011-14) and 150 dumpers and rollers.

Garry Howland, plant sales manager, said, “It is a really exciting time at Morris Leslie, and customer demand continues to grow on the back of continually improving UK economic conditions. We have access to one of the youngest fleet of telehandlers and excavators in the UK with the machines being available for sale from our national network of sales depots. With the completion of the fleet renewal program for 2015 the machines are now available for sale.”

Morris Leslie Plant Hire has spent in excess of £45m on new plant equipment this year, acquiring 1300 new machines to support their ambitious growth plans. A number of these machines were destined for fleet renewal to ensure the hire company maintains one of the most up-to-date hire fleets in the UK.

The assets for sale are from industry leading manufacturers JCB and Manitou telehandlers (6-17m), Kubota, JCB, Bobcat & Hitachi excavators (0.8T to 13T), Thwaites and Terex dumpers (1T to 10T) and Bomag and Terex rollers.
