bauma’s innovative solution to space issue

VISITORS from all over the world will descend on Munich this April for bauma 2016.
The 31st edition of the event, which takes place every three years, runs from April 11-17, with organisers confirming the trade fair is booked to capacity.

The 2013 event featured over 3000 exhibitors from 57 countries and welcomed a record 535,065 visitors from more than 200 countries.
This year, for the first time ever, firms who are on the waiting list for exhibition space can be listed in the bauma directory. So even if they don’t have a physical stand at the trade fair, they can still be listed in their product category, have access to a lounge where they can conduct meetings and book other services “such as electronic press compartments or advertising alternatives”.

Klaus Dittrich, CEO of Messe Munchen, said, “Just like in 2013, we have been unable to satisfy all the requests for space or for increases in space.
“We want to give companies that we have been unable to accommodate in the past an opportunity to call the bauma community’s attention to themselves and their products and to make contacts during the fair.”
