YOU might not automatically associate the Oscars with heavy construction machinery – but a JCB Loadall telehandler played a starring role at the biggest event in the showbiz calendar!

Stars arriving at the most famous red carpet on the planet were greeted by 24-feet high versions of the Oscar statuette.

A JCB 512-56 Loadall lifted the enormous features into place. The machine is capable of lifting to heights of 17 metres and can handle weights of 5.4 tonnes.
