Stadium project helps Jarvie get to the Heart of the matter

JARVIE Plant has supplied a range of equipment for the project to build a new main stand for Heart of Midlothian Football Club.

The construction of the 7,290 capacity stand at Tynecastle in Edinburgh has reached the steel erection stage, with structural beams and roof trusses arriving on site to be hoisted into place, ahead of the curtain walling process.

Grangemouth-based Jarvie has supplied kit including tower lights, an HD tandem roller, 8-tonne excavator, 9-tonne dumper and a 10’ safestore.

Ian Hutchison, Jarvie Plant sales director said, “Through regular sponsorship initiatives we’ve had an affinity with Hearts for a number of years, so we were delighted to be asked to be part of this major project.

“As the project gathers pace this month we’ll have more kit arriving on site including an 18m access platform and 18m telehandler.”
