Atlas Copco looks to generate more flexibility

ATLAS Copco has added four new models to its QES portable generator range.

The QES 250, 325, 400 and 500 are all Stage 3A emission compliant and are available in either 50 or 60 Hz.

Atlas Copco said that with the models from 250 kVA upwards, it is possible to deploy “multiple” generators in a modular power plant format if paralleling, load sharing or power export is required. All the new generators have Volvo engines and feature waterproof canopies that are said to repel all liquids, including heavy rainfall.

Sergio Salvador, product marketing manager for rental and construction generators said, “Our QES generators provide a constant source of power in even the harshest weather conditions. The new additions to the range offer even more flexibility for contractors in the construction and rental sector, particularly those looking for generators with exceptional plug-and-play capabilities.”
