Safety first for Hydrema machines

IN the current climate of dumper safety issues, Hydrema has been busy promoting the standard visibility and general safety aspects of their two models, particularly the 4X4 912F.

This machine already meets ISO 5006 for all round visibility, which is based on the operator being able to see a 1.2m high stick 1m away from the machine. Hydrema said that when fitted with three optional convex mirrors, it is possible to see the 1m perimeter line at ground level – even with a full load.

Coming as standard with a forward mount full sized ROPS/FOPS cab with two door access, A/C and in cab noise levels “as low as your average car” at 72 dba, Hydrema added that the operator can remain comfortable and safe in the cab whilst the machine is being loaded.

Hydrema sales director Tim Wadswirth said, “Along with renowned off-road performance, Hydrema trucks excel in the stability department. The Hydrema centre pivot concept has been in action for over 30 years. The built-in anti-roll system and low centre of gravity offer high levels of stability and safety.

“Novice operators who find themselves working on gradients can be confident in the performance of these machines.”
