Terex Trucks’ employee event hailed a “huge success”

TEREX Trucks recently hosted a gala day at its Motherwell base, attended by over 1,000 staff members and their families and friends.

Factory tours and live demonstrations of off-road haulers were among the highlights. Other activities included face painting, magicians, climbing walls, bucking broncos and fairground attractions.

The manufacturer hailed the event a “huge success”. Paul Douglas, director and general manager of Terex Trucks said, “Our gala day is an opportunity for us to invite our staff and their family and friends on site to have a fun day out as well as a way for us to say thank you for their hard work throughout the year.

“There was lots of interest in the factory tours and we had fantastic feedback from those who walked the shop floor. It is great to know that many people left knowing a bit more about what we do here.”
